Coast360 to Host "Kids360 Money Skills" Workshop on Sunday, July 5, Teaching Island Youth Critical Financial Literacy

Micronesia Mall invites the island community to Coast360's "Kids360 Money Skills" workshop on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Micronesia Mall Center Court and Space 121/122. This interactive public event offers families a unique opportunity to introduce children aged 5 to 10 to real-world financial concepts through hands-on activities, games, and direct engagement.

The free community event is designed to help local youth build healthy financial habits early in life. Partnering with Coast360 Federal Credit Union and sponsored by Visa, the workshop will feature dedicated educational stations where children can practice saving, smart spending, and basic budgeting. Coast360 financial specialists will be on-site to guide participants through the interactive curriculum, answer questions, and make financial learning fun and accessible.

To further empower local families, Coast360 will host a dedicated registration and information table during the event. This service allows parents to enroll their children in future financial literacy cohorts or explore the credit union's "Teen360" programs tailored for older adolescents. Local telecommunications partner GTA will also support the event with a table offering fun, finance-themed stickers and small giveaways for all participating children.

Featured financial stations scheduled for the event include:

• The Saving Station: Led by Coast360 youth coordinators, teaching children how compound interest works through simple visual games.
• The Budgeting Bazaar: An interactive mock store where kids use play currency to balance "wants" versus "needs."
• The Smart Spending Studio: A guided activity hosted by community volunteers to help kids identify value and plan purchases.
