Micronesia Mall Celebrates 38 Years with the Community and Philippine Airlines’ 80 Years Since Its Inaugural Flight to Guam
Dual milestone celebration on August 8 to feature live entertainment, tenant showcases, family activities, anniversary ceremonies, and a chance to win Business Class and Economy Class round-trip tickets to Manila on Philippine Airlines!
Micronesia Mall invites the island community to celebrate its 38th Anniversary on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at the Micronesia Mall Center Court, with an afternoon of live entertainment, tenant showcases and promotional pop-ups, games and giveaways, kids’ activities, anniversary presentations, a ceremonial cake cutting, and more.
For 38 years, Micronesia Mall has been a gathering place for shopping, dining, entertainment, and community celebrations on Guam. This year’s Anniversary Fair celebrates the tenants, partners, customers, and families who have helped make the Mall part of the island community for nearly four decades.
Adding to this year’s celebration, Micronesia Mall will also recognize 80 years since Philippine Airlines’ inaugural flight to Guam, commemorating eight decades of the airline connecting Guam and the Philippines. As part of the festivities, guests will have the chance to win Business Class and Economy Class round-trip tickets from Guam to Manila on Philippine Airlines. The anniversary festivities begin at 12:00PM, with guests invited to explore participating tenant and exhibitor pop-ups, enjoy 38th anniversary themed promotional offers, win giveaways, and vote for the Best Pop-Up Display. Join the raffle with a same-day receipt of $3.80 or more, in line with the event theme.
Families can enjoy free face painting, appearances by Geoffrey the Giraffe courtesy of Macy’s, kids’ giveaways, and themed Ko’ko’ Express rides throughout the celebration.
The Center Court stage will feature entertainment and special presentations during the afternoon, including performances by World Theater Productions, Guam Dance Community, and The Talent Box who will hold a full showcase at 3:30PM. Guests can also enjoy tenant highlights and demonstrations, including a special presentation from The Matcha Tokyo.
The celebration will also include an anniversary cake cutting. Attendees can enjoy free anniversary cake sponsored by American Bakery while supplies last.
Guests can also visit participating pop-ups and cast their vote for their favorite display, with the Best Pop-Up Display winner announced toward the conclusion of the event.

This year’s Mall anniversary will also shine a spotlight on another significant milestone: 80 years since Philippine Airlines’ inaugural flight to Guam.
A special portion of the program will recognize Philippine Airlines’ longstanding connection to the island, including a legislative resolution commemorating the airline’s 80-year milestone.
The celebration of this historic connection between Guam and the Philippines will culminate with one of the afternoon’s biggest highlights: the chance to win round-trip tickets from Guam to Manila on Philippine Airlines.
